Custom X Axis ticks?

I want to make a custom X-Axis in Plot that's nice ticks of n, but I want the axis to always start at 1 - is that possible in Plot to define the ticks explicitly? I tried using tickValues but didn't work...

You can pass data as a first argument to the mark, as usual; this is an array with the ticks you want to render:

  Plot.axisX(getTicks(2000, 10), {
    tickLabel: {dy: 10}
  })
