💡 Easily quote text when replying to GitHub comments #114

When replying to a GitHub comment, sometimes it is good to indicate which part of the comment that you are addressing specifically, by quoting that text in your reply. Here's an example:


This statement is not clear.

Which statement exactly are you referring to? 🤔


To do that easily, you can select the text you want to quote and type R key. That will automatically add that text as a quote in your reply. More info here.

If you don't want to highlight and press R, this specific markup is achieved with > at the start of a line.
