Unable to Prompt for TOTP Token Locally During 2FA Setup

I've encountered an issue while attempting to set up and log in a user using 2FA. Although I successfully enabled and set up 2FA via the authentication process, I'm not prompted for a token when attempting to log in. As a result, email and password are enough and the token is never used. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

we are having the same issue.

The imap login does howver require an application password and this works as expected.

but accessing the webmail however does not prompt you 2FA
