code chunks not visible in dark mode #24

Description

When viewing the book in dark mode, text that is part of a code chunk remains black, and thus cannot be seen against the black screen:

Steps to Reproduce

if not already using dark mode, toggle to dark mode under the NMFS open sci icon and look for a code chunk in the text:
