I need it because I deal the loginRequired logic with $http,
However, within angular-file-upload, the raw XMLHttpRequest is used so the token is not passed to server.

You can set up custom http header, it that helps. E.g. I use it for a CSRF token:
uploader.onBeforeUploadItem = function (item) {
item.headers = {'X-XSRF-TOKEN': $cookies['XSRF-TOKEN']};
};

Independent of any workaround, the header should be present in all requests done by this component by default.

$cookies an object with getters. To set the header for a file uploader:

vm.uploader = new FileUploader({
  url: '/api/upload',
  headers: {
    'X-XSRF-TOKEN': $cookies.get('XSRF-TOKEN')
  }
  ...
);
