It could be nice to have Azure Storage as a possible input source (in addition to S3, etc.). Here are a couple reasons:

  1. It's a popular cloud storage option
  2. If you decide to use Azure Document Intelligence for document processing (e.g. converting pdfs to markdown), it's faster to use the batch option for Document Intelligence, and the batch option requires that the input files be in an Azure Storage container: Document Intelligence batch analysis - "To utilize batch analysis, you need an Azure Blob storage account with specific containers for both your source documents and the processed outputs"

@annp0 that would be great, if you have an idea on how to implement it, please share your plan and perhaps a PR draft and then we can discuss and get it integrated.

We currently don't have it prioritized internally.
