When I add a tie to a pair of notes with click-add or 't', ties should select the second note so ties can be continually added to future notes.
Problem to be solved
This enhances the speed of adding ties, as the tie button can be clicked repeatedly to tie long notes without having to click the second note.
Prior art
This is a feature in both Sibelius and Dorico, and was referenced in the Tantacrul musescore 3 video as well as a visual of this in his Dorico video. Screenshots can be added upon request, but I no longer have access to Sibelius and Dorico.

You shouldn't be adding ties after entering the notes - you should simply enter them while in note input mode. Each press of "T" adds a new and ties it in one operation, so you can keep pressing T repeatedly to enter long tied sequences.
In the future, please use the support forum at musescore.org when you aren't sure how to do something in MuseScore, and only post here if there is consensus based on discussion there that a GitHub issue would be appropriate.
