Permanent disconnections and Socks connection does not work either #7525
Comments
Thank you for reporting! If you have other devices, is this specifically occurring on Windows? Otherwise, you may have better luck reaching out to [email protected] |
Actually I have the same feeling about being dissconected lately (Windows 10) but thought it's my system config |
Hello, these permanent disconnects are with me and friends (Windows 11 and 10) for about 3 months and every day. And it's getting worse and worse and we haven't changed anything on our system. I then tested it with your new beta and nothing works at all. You are connected, but you can't open a single page. And if you read reddit about disconnects and unfortunately very slow servers, it seems to affect a lot of users. I've now had 3 disconnects within 5 minutes and that happens every day, every evening! It's really annoying! The problem is clearly your app and the configuration behind it. |
again. I have now had 8 disconnects within 15-20 minutes. This is getting worse and worse. I have now restarted the modem to get a new IP, but that has made everything worse. Something is wrong with your app and is interfering with the internet connection! I then tried to create a bug report, but that didn't work either, there's something very wrong with your app. And I quickly deactivated your Firefox app, which blocks everything, makes surfing the net extremely slow and blocks most websites! |
@strykenKN What issues are you having when sending the problem report? Does it simply time out? Is there any way you could copy the logs from the problem report view in the app and either send them here or to the email address above? You can mention that they should be forwarded to the developers, and we will try our best to figure out what the issue is. |
Is it a bug?
I have checked if others have reported this already

Additional Information
Hello,
I honestly don't know what's been going on with Mullvad for months. Just for info, I have tried this on other computers and connections, the result is the same!
I have been having massive connection problems with Mullvad for months, mostly in the late afternoon and evening. Every day my connection simply breaks down and it takes up to 20 minutes until I have a stable connection and I won't even start talking about the socket connection because it doesn't work at all!
I honestly don't know what to do anymore. And it's getting worse and worse. I'm losing more and more confidence in Mullvad because they no longer offer any stability and I'm paying for it. I'm now thinking about choosing a different provider because it's not a good situation. And more and more sites are blocking Mullvad's IPs on top of that, even youtube is starting to do it. People, this is not how it works.
I can't put the log in here either, as it's more than 65000 characters long and all I see in the log is Error: HTTP request failed for the connections ... there's no end to it. Then A socket operation referred to an unavailable network. (os error 10051). aused by: Legacy hyper error

This is permanent, with the log.
So for now without a log!
