heroku is like $40 and we don't even have a worker or memcached running. cheaper options?

would also like to explore: dockerize a vps solution

OpenShift
- $14/mo. for 3 always-on instances (database on same box)
Digital Ocean
- $10/mo. for single box w/ 30GB
AWS
- $28/mo. for Amazon RDS and a single EC2 instance
