The battery might be out so the device is no longer keeping its date/time after loosing power. In that case the web certificate cannot be verified (gjest.ihelse.net) and therefore the connection is not established to pull new updates.
Set the date time with:

sudo date -s "Thu Aug 9 21:31:26 UTC 2012"
