Currently, there are multiple bugs with the TiK client, at least on the GUI level.

Notable issues include:

  • macOS Dark Mode breaking various UI elements
  • Sounds don't work. Even configuring sound paths doesn't make them work
  • Hovering over buttons (balloon help?) bring up a yellow rectangle with white text making them completely unreadable. (likely a side effect of dark mode)
  • Changing settings is not intuitive and colors work kinda, a restart is required to see changes. Additionally it is unclear if the buttons for making changes to colors is supposed to be white or if it's supposed to change to represent the color selected. I believe they're supposed to represent the color but I could be wrong.

A majority of these issues could be directly related with macOS's dark mode, I suspect they are and if there's any way to force light mode that would be best.

Screenshots below are of the preferences screen with some modifications done to it through messing with colors, and the balloon help popup.
