Docker Install

Hi I am trying to install via docker running on synology.

I am able to download the image, but have no clue on what environment variables, volume directories, ports to specify. Is there any specific instructions on this? I read the Wiki but am not following what to do exactly.

Behavior previously highlighted in #313, patch introduced in #316.

If you can add environment variables in your freyr execution, go ahead and add DOCKER_DESKTOP=true.

This will pause the entry point which allows you to create shells to the container. Lmk if there's any confusion about this.

Thank you for the response @miraclx ... I think I should have been a bit more clearer though. I read through the links/documentation but I am just not following. I am used to using a docker compose file where volume, environment variables, ports, etc are specified to install the container and run it. After I downloaded the image, I am unsure what I need to specify and what I need to map to volume, environment variables, ports, etc to get it up and running. Is there any documentation on this? Typically after a docker install, I use http://localhost:port address to access the container, but all I am seeing is terminal access, which I am not certain Synology works that way. Is the a UI to access after the install?

Is that done by using DOCKER_DESKTOP=true ?

Here is my docker yaml:

version: '3.4'

services:
  Freyrjs:
    image: freyrcli/freyrjs-git:master
    container_name: freyr
    environment:
      - PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin
      - DOCKER_DESKTOP=true
    volumes:
      - PATH TO DATA FOLDER:/data:rw
    restart: always

Just make sure to replace the "PATH TO DATA FOLDER" with the appropriate path to where you want the container to store its files.
