Way to filter out freemium #102
-
Is there a way to filter out the freemium apps from the UI? I haven't found an option in the settings. I find my non technical friend are being confused they can install a tool from a FOSS software management but then the software itself is not FOSS. |

Hi. I noticed this problem too, but the problem is that there is no easy way to know which apps are free/freemium/paid. I get all the apps and their info from the Homebrew API, which doesn't provide this information. So to solve this, I would have to add the information manually somehow, but that's problematic for several reasons. Applite isn't really great for discovering or getting information about apps, it's most useful if you know what you want to install in advance, in my opinion. |
