Feature request: dev tools extension to inspect proprietary RPC protocol payloads

Describe the feature

A non-human-readable protocol is a weird sell for the default recommendation. I would recommend making some kind of dev tools extension for it if you want people to adopt such a protocol. I just turned on SuperJSON right off the bat so that it’ll be easy to debug in the network tab.
