Getting the error `Error running command python.envManager.refresh`

I installed the python environments extension and I am getting the error:

Error running command python.envManager.refresh: command 'python.envManager.refresh' not found. This is likely caused by the extension that contributes python.envManager.refresh.

Could it be this is happening because I don't have the Python extension installed?

to clarify you don't have the normal python extension installed (is there any reason why / was it just for testing)? @karthiknadig does the envs extension not have a dependency on the regular extension?

I was doing some testing for the environments manager extension and I did not have the Python extension installed by default on that profile. If indeed this issue is caused by the python extension missing, perhaps there could be a message/notification which signals to the user that the Python extension is missing and provides a link to install it. Or alternatively it could automatically install it.
