Localization

The localization of Visual Studio Code SQL Server extension (vscode-mssql) and SQL Tools API service (sqltoolsservice ) is now open to community feedback and contribution. If you are fluent in one of the following languages we would be grateful for you contributions: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified or Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese.
We use Transifex to allow the community to help us translate. Sign in if you have a Transifex account, otherwise sign up for an account!
- Go to VSCode-MSSql for extension related translations or to Sql Tools Service for most strings that appear in a results view pane. (If can't find a specific string in one of them, try the other!)
- Click on "Join Team"
- Select the language you want to contribute to.
- Click the Join button.
- You will receive a notification when your request is approved.
- Select your requested language.
- Click on the "Translate" button
- Select a particular resource or choose "All resources" to see all strings.
- Add reviews, suggestions, or any feedback you may have!
- Review the suggestions and vote on them accordingly.
- Click "Add Suggestion" to suggest a new translation.
- Click the "Comments" button and add your feedback.
