Question about v0.7.0 release timeline and contributing guidelines

Hi Chenglong Wang (@Chenglong-MS) and the Data Formulator team,

First of all, thank you for building such a fantastic open-source project! I've been exploring Data Formulator and really appreciate the innovative approach you've taken with data visualization and formulation.

I've made some enhancements based on version 0.6.0 and would love to share what I've been working on:

1. Apache Superset Integration

I've integrated Data Formulator to work with Apache Superset's semantic layer, which includes:

• Dashboard data sources
• Dataset data sources

2. Apache SSO (Single Sign-On)

I've also integrated Apache's authentication system, allowing users to log in directly using their Superset SSO credentials to access the relevant data sources.

3. Internationalization (i18n)

I've made some code modifications to improve internationalization support for broader language coverage.

Questions:

1. Release Timeline: When is the official v0.7.0 release expected? I'd like to base my ongoing development on the stable release version.

2. Contributing Guidelines: I'd be happy to submit my modifications as a pull request in the future. Could you please share:

   • What coding standards or style guidelines should I follow?
   • Are there any testing requirements? I didn't see any test code in the project repository.

Hello! We are looking for a stable 0.7 version around mid April this month. The main development plan around this version are:

1. finalizing the datalake interface (related to apache data source I think?)
2. update front-end state management for mixed agent / user initiated interaction
3. interface updates
4. visualization library

Would love to have your contribution and explore ideas!

• There is no particular coding styles -- primary code are now developed with coding agents; there are some implicit styles around variable naming etc, which agents should follow automatically.
• Testing is also mostly done with agents as well. A particular focus on testing is to test data loaders with simulated environment. Pull requests are often accepted with some quick reviews. We might also include some more systematic testing approaches in this stable release (please suggest as well!).
