I have tried many times to pair my Thinknode M5 with my Samsung S23, this has Android 16, One UI 8.5 and currently a patch date of July 2026.
Every attempt to pair shows a PIN entry field that then vanishes before a red banner appears with a message that says:
FlutterBluePlusException | createBond | fbp-code: 6 | Device is disconnected
before this it shows:
Couldn't pair with Meshcore-. Make sure that it's ready to pair.
The Thinknode M5 is displaying:
MSG: 0
Pin:<6 digits>
I believe that this shows it is in pairing mode.
There is no time to even enter 1 digit into the PIN entry field before the error is shown.
I have tried rebooting the S23 but nothing changes, the Thinknode M5 has behaved the same way with firmware 1.16.0, 1.17.0 and 1.17.1
Meshcore app is v1.47.0 which appears to be the latest.
Any ideas? I can't find a resolution for this anywhere, although I have seen mentions of problems with Android BLE and some Mesh devices.
