reset_limit parameter

Hi,
I still don't understand what is the reset (r) decoder parameter (reset_limit). Where and how does it affect the bitbuffer or decoder?

The reset limit is the maximum allowed gap length in µs, any gap longer than that will end the bitbuffer.
