Am I missing something?

Your volume mounts are causing issues, /.../ is not a valid path. Try to update them to a valid linux path.

Oh sorry I forgot the container was crashing on startup. Im stumped on the permissions error. @mbround18 you got any ideas?

My thoughts are this is a host to container issue rather than an issue with the container itself. Can you docker-compose down docker-compose pull docker-compose up ?

Inside the container can you run echo "$(id -u):$(id -g)" as steam?
