Server keeps reconnecting

First of all, thanks for the docker container and your effort in maintaining this! I'll try my best to explain the issue with all information needed. If i missed anything let me know!

System Information

Operating System: Server Rack with 128RAM and Xeon Processor
Docker Version: Docker version 20.10.2, build 2291f61
Docker Compose Version: docker-compose version 1.25.0, build unknown
User & Group On Host: 1000:1000, user has correct permissions
BepInEx? No (i think, haven't installed it myself)

Issue Description

• Docker containers startup without problem
• Server starts running
• After a few seconds the server disconnects
• After a few more seconds server reconnects again
• And so on and on and on and on

Port forwarding is setup and working
I've run the server outside the docker container as well to test and this seems to work. No disconnects happening.

Hey @danielvancamp apologies for the delay <3 it looks like from my resting the reconnection is more or less the connection to steam servers. are you able to connect to the server with it constantly reconnecting?

Goodmorning @mbround18. No worries, take your time! No rush here.
It looks indeed like it's the connection to steam which is failing. Using your image it always disconnects to reconnect again. Wasn't able to keep the connection going. When i run in straight form my server itself (Ubuntu 20.04 LTS) it keep the connection alive without any problem and. i can find it on the steams Servers list as well. While i can only find it running from the docker container if it states "Game Server Connected". The connected time is too short for me to be able to log in though.

From what i can see, i don't see anything in the logs that point out to a reason for the disconnects, but maybe i'm looking in the wrong places.

Not sure if you can help with any of this but it was worth a shot :D. Thanks!

I found the problem, it's the MACVLAN which is the culpit it seems. I removed it from my VLAN and it didn't do the reconnecting thingy anymore. Any idea what could trigger this? If not i'll try to dive it in a little deeper to see if my little brain can wrap itself around it :D.
