It asks on every file save:

Tags file /home/midenok/src/mariadb/10.6b/src/TAGS has changed, read new contents? (yes or no)

Fixed by:

(setq tags-revert-without-query 1)

P. S. Customizing Emacs to more or less usable state takes more time than editing actual files with it.
