Automation of blocks

It it possble to automate production of blocks? When you have a build that needs thousands of blocks, handcrafting them is a chore.

I try to keep my mods minimal in what they add, but would making a mod "Auto Chiseler" or something like that adds a block that allows item input/output and using energy to chisel to a preset block into an output slot?

That would be an excelent solution. Or maybe just enable making blocks with the stonecutter block.
