Question: how is grove-node related to MarkLogic nodejs API?

Can you provide a link to the Stack Overflow QA?

To put it short: there is currently no real relation, other than that we are reusing some of the QueryBuilder capabilities. You can safely remove 'marklogic' as a dependency, if it happens to be lingering around.

We'd like to switch over though. We have considered switching to MarkLogic Node Client for backend access often, but the issue is that we can't move over gradually. You have to do all communication with ML Node client, or all with the current http/https libs. You cannot use a mix, because they can't share sessions.

We would appreciate it a lot if someone would be willing to take a stab at it, and open a PR with whatever outcome of that exercise.
