This appears to be the exceptions when this happens.

ERROR: (Bam.Core.ModuleCreationException) Error creating module
ERROR: (System.IO.FileNotFoundException) No such file or directory
ERROR: (Mono.Unix.UnixIOException) No such file or directory [ENOENT].

Easiest way to reproduce it was on OSX, try to copy a non-existent symlink from a framework.
