Current behavior

As depicted above, it would be useful to have an option that shows the full duration of an event. That is 'IF an event starts on day 1 and ends on day 3 THEN it shows up on all of these days'

What you’re looking to achieve can already be done using Timeline layout. The Timeline view is designed for planning and visualising work across time (start/end dates, dependencies, overlaps), which matches the use case described in this issue.
