Missing Learn-Switch

Hi everyone,

I've some EnOcean devices which requires teach in.
Based on documentation it is possible to activate learn mode via "Devices and Services" -> "Enocean MQTT" -> "Learn"

In my case there is no Learn-Switch on that screen. I tried it with my active HomeAssistant installation but with a completly fresh installation. In both cases the Switch is missing (see screenshot)

Does somebody know what is the issue here? I followed installation guide step by step.

You're right, the instructions were confusing. Sorry.
I just updated the wiki page.

The correct path is Settings -> Devices & Services -> Under Mosquitto Broker click on xx devices ->, select the ENOCEANMQTT device

I hope I am not annoying (or totally stupid) but I cannot find the Learn-switch there as well:

Actually I cannot see a button with "xx devices" as you mentioned in the documentation. Is this only available for standalone version (I am using the HA Addon)?

Did you change the discovery prefix in mosquitto broker from porten/ to homeassistant as well ?

I'm wondering about this part with Auto Teach-in is disabled

This is normal. You have to turn on the switch to activate the teach-in on HA side.
Otherwise it could lead to unwanted pairing.

Yes, I've changed the discovery prefix to homeassistant/.

After a Newstart there is no Switch:

If I'm looking in the logfile I see no changes, but if I listen to a Topic I see following:

at the same time there are no logs in the enoceanmqtt-log:

Please change it homeassistant, without the trailing / as aforementioned and restart the addon.

If this still doesn't solve the issue, then please share your addon configuration. Do not forget to mask any sensitive data.
Also share your Mosquitto configuration.

This was the error:

Now it's running fine and the Devices were found from MQTT.
