count all likes from a model by specific creator

I have this Post model and want to count all likes from posts that made by a specific user. Is there any way other other than below codes?

$post_likes = Post::select('markable_likes.*')
            ->join('markable_likes', 'markable_likes.markable_id', 'posts.id')
            ->where('posts.created_by', $user->id)
            ->where('markable_likes.markable_type', 'App\Models\Post')
            ->get();

$post = Post::where('created_by', $this->id)->get();
$likes_count = 0;

foreach ($post as $item) {
    $likes_count += Like::count($item);
}

return $likes_count;

    ->count();
