Overview

The "Color Bars Audio Visualizer" is a Chrome Extension that provides a psychedelic audio visualizer using your microphone's audio feed. Click the extension icon to launch a new tab displaying the visualizer. With a dark theme designed for night owls, this extension aims to add a vibrant and colorful touch to your audio experience.

Installation

  1. Clone the Repository

    git clone https://github.com/lpolish/audio-visualization-chrome-extension.git

  2. Load the Extension

    • Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions/.
    • Turn on "Developer mode" and click "Load unpacked."
    • Select the folder where you cloned the repository.

Usage

  1. Launch: Click the extension icon next to Chrome's address bar.
  2. Start Visualization: In the popup, click the "Start Visualization" button to open a new tab displaying the visualizer.
  3. Initialize: Click the "Start" button in the new tab to begin the visualization.
