cannot complie under windows

What steps will repruduce the problem?

I downloaded the original version as published in BMC: wndchrm.tar.gz. It 
worked at the TRAIN and TEST steps but at the CLASSIFY didn't. I tried this 
version with Cygwin under WIN7 and under UBUNTU 12.04.

The result was in both case:
Opening training set file 'test.fit'
Opening image file 'o.tiff'
Computing signatures - tile 1 of 1...
start processing image...
start computing features
Classifying image 'o.tiff' ...
Segmentation fault(core dumped)

I have alredy tried different rev. and the r369 worked at Ubuntu 12.04.  I 
tried r369 with Cygwin under WIN7 and at the TRAIN and TEST steps worked but 
the CLASSIFY step didn't work.

The result was:
Segmentation fault(core dumped)

I would like to ask which program you used to complie the original version 
under windows?
What is the problem with the CLASSIFY step under windows?
