UX: No visual distinction between "File Selected" and "Rename Mode" states

Bug description

There is no visual difference between a file selected and a file in renaming mode (F2).

Steps to reproduce

Open nemo, select compact view, select a file, press F2.

Expected behavior

Should be a visual transition when entering Rename Mode.
Ideally file selection box could include the icon:

Or could be a white space on de end of name:
