if a single instance app like pavu-control is already running, but its window is hidden, and it's "started" for a second time i.e. via the menu, because it's faster ;), than the entry in the normal window list (not the grouped one [untested]) gets red and is highlighted, instead of opening the running window AS IT WAS BEFORE cinnamon-6.4.9-1.fc42

Changing prefs in the "windows" prefs does not change the behaviour.

focus-mode = click
focus-new-windows = smart
auto-raise = true

Steps to reproduce

start one single instance app
open a terminal over it
start app again

Expected behavior

bringing the already open window to front
