Meeting notes:

• Daily report: Slack channel
• [Optional] Weekly report: blog? maybe once per two weeks?
• Technical topics have been already discussed in https://github.com/lima-vm/lima/issues ? Any questions?
  • Plugins can be either in bin or in libexec
    -> bin seemed safer once yesterday, but can be now libexec
  • Default drivers should be separate?
    -> same repo. Buildable as either built-in or separate binaries.
  • Plugins vs Drivers?
    -> Drivers
  • "BaseDriver" struct is useless and should be removed
  • Some cidata scripts such as "02-wsk2-setup.sh" should be provided by Driver, not by the lima core
    -> TODO: open a github issue
  • How to transform config. In vz we have the list of "I don't know this YAML field" , but it didn't scale well
    -> Config validation has to happen in both core and drivers.
    Common config can be just validated in the core.
  • Needs a mock driver for unit testing
  • Driver itself must run as non-root, but it may execute setuid/sudo binaries
  • Regular meeting per two weeks
