Modifiying priorities of providers

Is there a way I can specify the priorities of providers as a consumer of the plugin. For example, I never want the diagnostics hover to be in front of the LSP provider but by default this is the way. I don't want to disable to diagnostic hover but would prefer to swap these priorities. Even something like the order you put the require statements in the init function is the priority order.
