Give us a way to order resource groups without completely hardcoding everything

I'm happy with the resource grouping with dropdown in Nova v4, but I want my resource groups to appear in a certain order. I could add 1., 2. in front of each group label but that's not really clean.

I know I could also hardcode the entire menu, but that's a ton of work. Surely there could be an easier way to accomplish this?
