loading an image gets slower

Hi,

I'm using v0.72 and found out that loading an image (not only the first time, but after reloading the page) takes a few minutes or longer. This could be due to the Gaussian mixture computation for each channel and gate, but I'm wondering if there's a way to accelerate the loading.
