Actually all this is too dangerous.
Smart users should... not risk making tracks that are too long before writing and safely uploading.
Nor should they meddle with tracks that have already been saved.
I'm just worried that something will go wrong, and they will have to climb Mt. Nerdsberg all over again.
Plus, when resuming at a different position than when a trace was stopped, a straight line connects the two parts even though this wasn't traversed while capturing. This contaminates traces (with no easy fix).
So, users would have to be careful about avoiding this, with such a feature. Either by staying put, or starting a new trace.
Hi @jidanni, the app currently includes a button that lets you pause a track while recording. If this doesn’t resolve your issue, feel free to open a new one.
Yes I know there is a resume tracking available in the menu but might as well add some pause button also ...
