Refactor myConnections to be compatible with Forevr.us connection types. #12
Comments
My first goal in refactoring myConnections is to be able to display the friendships made with Forever. Other objectives for OpenWest are bonus points. |
That's what I'm thinking. Good to see you're reading all this. :) On Apr 23, 2013, at 4:34 PM, Ed Orcutt [email protected] wrote:

At some point a "management" interface for distributors also needs to exist. I could see this being a tab within myConnections or some other subsidiary of myConnections.Jessie A. Morris On Tuesday, April 23, 2013 12:53:49 Phil Windley wrote: Edo, |
Yes, or maybe myThings? Jessie, please put a bookmark issue in SquareTag for a distributor management interface if we don't have one already. On Apr 23, 2013, at 4:41 PM, "Jessie A. Morris" [email protected] wrote:

myConnections has been rewritten from the ground up to display Forever Friendships. All new friendships accepted in Forever will include a link to a profile image. Legacy friendships will display the default profile image. |
Edo,
I realize that there's some semantic complication here. I.e. there might be different types of connections.
We could determine (for now) that there are acquaintances and friends and list them both here.
We would probably want myConnections to put them in separate categories or otherwise be able to tell them apart.
I'd settle for a simple list with the type to the right, for now.
Clicking on the name shows the contact's page (like in Forevr.us) with a "Delete Connection" button for disconnecting.
