What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. load aqv7.0.r442.b1848-hwv6.1-dimu1.1.hex or newer on AQ6+DIMU
2. dump serial messages (cat /dev/tty/USB0)

now you can see many text-strings from the flash:

....
GPS init
$Revision: 442 $
$Revision: %ld
Nav init
....
