Environment:

  • OS: Ubuntu MATE 18.04.6 LTS 64bit
  • qView version: 6.1.1
    Information:
Even thought the same 6.1.1.deb works on ubuntu 18.04, the AppImage does not. This may be because the Appimage was not created on CentOS or Ubuntu 16.04. This is the best way to insure its Universal for Appimage format as others already have flatpak (which probably works universally) and native.deb

This version (qView 6.1.1 requires libc.so.6 version GLIBC_2.28) which Ubuntu 18.04 does not support as well as all Forks beased on Ubuntu 18.04.

I think we can get around that by using a newer tool: https://github.com/AppImage/appimagetool
