Rome wasn't built in one day json-schema, from json Media Type for JavaScript Object Notation, itself firmly based on the ECMAScript Language Specification that came before and schema definitely not the first of its kind and quite like not the last. We may therefor have our pick from the blueprints at our disposal instead of trying to go against the stream and cause undue resistance.
