I downloaded Mac application from https://incomsystems.biz/fwknop-gui/downloads.php but cannot launch it. Do you have any suggestions how to fix it? I'm using macOS High Sierra 10.13.6

If you right click on the file and select open, does it give you an option to open anyway? I don't actually have access to an up-to-date Mac in order to test this myself.

I tried regular open and right click open and error it the same. ITMW I updated to macOS Mojave (10.14) and problem still exists.

But it's not a problem for me anymore as I configured command line knock for time being.

I am on Mojave (10.14.6) and the workaround that works for me is:

xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/fwknop-gui.app

@pawelkmpt can you point me in the direction of how to do it via the command line, maybe a script I can write to use when I need to access this particular server.

I am on M1 MacBook & cannot get this app to work.

@ErikThiart All you need would be:

  1. the fwknop command line, which can be installed via brew
  2. A .fwknoprc file that is placed inside your home directory (~/). It can either be hand-crafted or created by the gui app

You may want to check http://www.cipherdyne.org/fwknop/docs/fwknop-tutorial.html#client-automation for more details.

I appreciate it, let me attempt that.

Sucks that this does not work anymore though.
