introducing temperature offset for underlying devices

hello!

I used another thermostat earlier (awesome_thermostat - unmaintaied now and became incompatible with current HA version)
To use more than one underlying climate per room, I used automation to follow the state of the thermostat with the other device

I quickly realized when I started to do this, that not the same temperature value is required for tll the devices in the room.

especially I had to setup the ACs higher temperature especially during the heating period, than the target temperature of the room.

I would like to introduce offset values for the underlying devices, exactly two of them:

• for the heating state
• for the idle state

what do you think?

Versatile Thermostat (VTherm) is based on awesome thermostat which is no more maintained, you are right.

Natively Vtherm has can control one or many underlying climate entitites and listen to their direct changes. You can read this here: https://github.com/jmcollin78/versatile_thermostat/blob/main/documentation/en/over-climate.md
