Incase it is usefull, like mentioned in the ticket fix of release 24, i do indeed have some library items that dont seem to realize who they are. For example the 2nd line mentioning the error mentions Which is this https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2127492/ I find it strange that jellyfin has issues figuring out what episode is what. |

It does not necessarily depend on us not identifying it correctly but might also be caused by Trakt not being able to match solely based on imdb id. Their main source of data is tmdb. What is weird though is that the log always says |

Im not entirely sure what you mean with missing episodes enabled? Is this a Jellyfin trakt settings, a jellyfin setting. Or rather do you mean if i have episodes in Jellyfin that are no longer located on Disk? i cant seem to find a show missing episodes setting. This old ticket jellyfin/jellyfin#5125 For all my library folders i have had enabled the These are my Trakt.tv Jellyfin settings. (Scrobble turned off since that might be a culprit) Overview of installed plugins Overview of Settings of One of the libraries in question (One that contains the previously mentioned tt0434665) And just to confirm, Jellyfin only saves a boolean watched state correct? Id does not save how many times a piece of media has been watched, so there is no worry of my local Jellyfin database thinking i have watched the same movie 300 times, and syncing that back to trakt?
Is there any other information i could provide that might help solve this Mystery? |

I also ran the export again, but with the Trakt Jellyfin setting "Enable debug loggin" enabled, But that did not turn up anynew information. And i manually confirmed before and after, and after running the export it did in fact double my watch count of my Bleach series (and others) on trakt. |

I have the same problem. Trakt blocked the api access for my account (423). Edit: Thats a great number 🤣🤣🤣 |

So the sync trakt is currently broken for people that have episodes that trakt doesnt recognize and will mass duplicate import the other episodes it does find. So currently i just have the global sync turned off. When you mark an episode as watched in jellyfin, it still gets set as watch in Trakt. While i have no clue about the source code of this project, it seems to me that the code needs extra checks inplace to prevent the "overflow" issue, but seeing as this is a free side project, who knows when they will get around to it. |

Without having any of this issues on my side it's difficult and tiresome to debug further. If you enable Debug logging in the plugin, you likely need to enable it for the plugin in the jellyfin |

I have been using this python script to remove duplicate plays for a long time now. I wish the plugin author would add something like it into the plugin so that it can be run with jellyfin scheduled tasks every week or something |

SAme problem here. Certain episodes are being marked as watched over 20 times. I removed the playsin in Trakt, and in the next Jellyfin sync they appear again

Any update on this? This is happening daily now, with at least 20 "watched" everyday for the same episode. I even deleted the episode from the server, and yet still keeps marking it watched. |
Did you update your server? It hasn't happened to me for a couple months. |

Im on the latest version of jellyfin and the jellyfin trakt plugin
and Trakt.tv Support is saying its still happening.
This issue seems to have been an issue before looking at this recent Issue / release

I then disabled the plugin since it wasnt working anyways.
2 December 2023
They deduped my library and restored my acces to the trakt api again.
Before turning the plugin on again i made sure i updated to the latest version of jellyifin and i updated my trakt jellyfin plugin on that same day to version 24.0.0
Since i believe i had fixed the issue, i turned the plugin on again only to see that my watched history was still full of dupes.

(dates with only a few are probably days where my pc thats running jellyfin wasnt turned on in time for the daily sync)
Seeing as i had the latest version of the plugin, this is a bit strange.
I did still have the old version 23 in the jellyfin plugin folder (\Server\plugins) but since i only had version 24 active, this should not have been an issue.
