This version is not compatible with Windows XP.
It will install successfully but the installed executables will give an error upon execution.
On Windows XP install an older version.

The installer is not automatically installing the microsoft universal C
runtime. When you get an error message saying that the
api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll is missing, please install it via the
