Interoperability with Runpod.io storage

I can't find a profile that will connect to S3 compatible Runpod.io storage.
The AWS S3 sends an invalid region and the connection fails.

I've also tried with the S3 HTTPS profile but it gives the same error.

You will have to create a custom connection profile such as the attached [^1] for the region EU-RO-1. However I was notified that listing buckets fails with an interoperability failure as Runpod does not seem to support the full AWS S3 API specification.

I think I'm getting that error now.
