i would like this too. keyfinder already has just about everything one might need in a bpm tagger. it is mission creep though.

Mixxx uses QM (Vamp plugin) for bpm analysis, it's opensource and cutting edge.
if i was going to do bpm tagging, i'd do it in a way that used all the best bpm analysis libraries (vamp, aubio, etc)and used did a voting process with the results.
