Motivation
When it comes to habit tracking some people must be familiar with the concept of habit stacking, i.e. defining a sequence of habits which are then executed one after the other. This workflow allows for less overhead per habit.
After using the app for a while I naturally came to the following system. Some groups of my habit have reminders at the same time. For example, every day at 12:00 I'm getting reminders for 5 habits which I then execute in a sequence.
A slight inconvenience occurs when the daily schedule needs to be adjusted. If I want to temporarily shift these 5 habits to let's say 13:00, I need to edit the reminder times for each of them individually.
Concept of time variables
Some apps have time variables, e.g. morning, afternoon, evening, and night, which can be defined in the app settings. I personally find it very convenient, since the reminders for most of the habits can be to assigned to one of those time variables. The specific times can then be easily adjusted for an entire group of habits.
