Allowed memory size exhausted for large dataset

When accessing the Admin -> Data Tab, selecting a SurveyJS questionnaire that has a lot of data (lots of entries, but especially lots of questions per entry) may not work:

Got error 'PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16542536 bytes) in .../Parsedown.php on line 807',

Increasing the memory_limit in the php.ini helps, but this may not be a long term solution.
