How can I extract the code generated?

How can I extract the code generated? because I want to to generate some code and run and later edited by some human. Maybe later run in another environment.
I tried to use something like: agent.memory.steps[-1].tool_calls[0].arguments to get the code, but the problem it is not sure in which step the code really is.
